Desafía

Cambridge Cleantech is pleased to announce the recent collaboration with ICEX to run the Desafía London Immersion Programme - the first clean and climate tech led programme offered by Desafía.

Located in London, Cambridge and Oxford, the immersion programme will enable startups to deep-dive into the thriving clean and climate tech ecosystem, whilst learning from leading academics from the world renowned, Cambridge Institute of Sustainable Learning CISL.

During this two-week programme, participants will have the chance to network with investors, local entrepreneurs, attend workshops and seminars, and gain valuable insights into the latest innovation trends.

Drawing on a vast network and pool of expertise, the programme will be tailored to the needs and priorities of the selected cohort, ensuring the most relevant adjacencies and learnings.

Act4Green

Commissioned by the UK Government and the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office Act4Green was a 12-week acceleration programme for early and mid-stage cleantech and climate tech innovators looking to attract international investment and scale into new international markets.

Cambridge Cleantech designed and co-delivered a twelve-week programme of core executive training and business support, masterclasses and ecosystem engagement activities leading to participation in Cleantech Venture Day, the UK's leading cleantech investment day.

Members of the cohort have successfully raised over a £1m in funding since participating in the programme, as well as entering into a number of international collaborations directly facilitated via the programme.

UK India Tech Start Up

Building on the foundation of the Act4Green programme, Cambridge Cleantech designed and delivered a 4-week intense immersion programme for 12 fast-scaling Indian technology companies (digital, life-sciences and cleantech).

The programme included executive training based on research from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School, masterclasses from speakers from across the UK Golden Triangle, and 1-1 mentoring with UK-India internationalisation specialists. The final demo day involved investors and stakeholders from the UK and Indian investment ecosystem as well as UK Government and Foreign and Commonwealth development office.

Scale Up

Scale Up is a European regional development fund offering business support and scaling programme for innovators.

Through the programme, Cambridge Cleantech supports European innovators to gain access to international commercial collaboration opportunities through a series of facilitated technology challenges with partner corporations.

Cambridge Cleantech has worked with over 80 corporate challenge partners through this programme, and facilitated and supported over 800 meetings and engagements, including business support and training for participating innovators.

The programme has led to over £26m in commercial contracts and over 25 commercial collaborations.
